Real time Tire Replacement Process:
FULL SETS WITH BOTH A START TECH AND FINISH TECH
Start Tech's start every job. They are responsible for grabbing the work order that is next in line. They must familiarize themselves with the work order and what wheel(s) to remove.
MARK THE VEHICLE STATUS ON THE WORKFLOW.
Then Start Tech brings the vehicle back and passes of the work order to the Finish Tech. Start Tech will LIFT THE VEHICLE and begin to REMOVE the wheel(s). At this time the Finish Tech should be familiarizing themselves with the Tech Sheet and pulling tires.
Finish Tech will grab the first wheel that comes off and be responsible for breaking that bead and beginning the tire replacement process.
While the Finish Tech is replacing the first tire, the Start Tech should be SIMULTANEOUSLY BREAKING THE BEADS on the other THREE.

During that time the start Tech will do the tire replacement on the 4th Tire.
It is the Finish Tech's RESPONSIBILITY to be SIMULTANEOUSLY BALANCING ALL FOUR TIRES as the REPLACEMENT PROCESS PROCEEDS.
By this time the start Tech should be done with the installation of the fourth tire and should be sending it to the finish Tech for balance.
Now the Start Tech should be taking the balanced Wheels, setting them on the hubs and starting the lug nuts by hand remembering to turn the lug nuts at least 4 turns before any tools are applied.
Is the Finish Tech's responsibility to center the wheel on the hub and tighten the lug nuts down ensuring that the wheel is true and correct before final torque.
The Start Tech will then bring the vehicle down of of the jacks and performed the first torque.
The Finish Tech will perform the second and final torque.
If there is NO Finish Tech around then THE FINAL TORQUE MUST BE PERFORMED by either a Sales Tech or a Manager.
If their are none of these positions available then a final torque can be done by another Start Tech. ALL VEHICLES MUST RECEIVE 2 TORQUES BY 2 TECH'S
If there is any downtime for Start Tech's during a job is is their responsibility to always be prepping for the Finish Tech's.
The Finish Tech will then bring the car back to the front, return the work order and MARK THE JOB COMPLETE ON THE WORKFLOW.
While the Finish Tech is performing the final torque and bringing the car around to the customer, the Start Tech should already be up front grabbing the next work order and bringing the next vehicle back.
