General Manager:
It is the responsibility of the General Manager to oversee all operations of the business. They are responsible for the completion of every task that is required for day to day operations. It is their responsibility to constantly be optimizing the workflow process. It is the duty of the GM to delegate responsibility's to achieve the daily goals of the company. It is the duty of the GM to make plans and strategies for the future growth of the company. they are responsible for any and all social relations of the business from customers, to vendors and affiliates. It is their duty to handle any customer issues that can not be defused by the Lead Sales Associate. They are responsible for the overall appearance and function of the entire site. This position is responsible for the direct hiring and firing of employees. The General Manager is responsible for all financial aspects of the company, including payroll and taxes. They are also responsible for the entire operation and efficiency of the computer system and the business software management system. General Manager is responsible for all marketing strategy's. Responsibility's include website maintenance and performance. The General Manager is responsible for bringing customers into the shop and must always be looking for new avenues and constantly optimizing our process for new customers and customer retention. Bottom line is the GM is Responsible for success in every aspect of the business and will delegate tasks to the entire team to achieve that success.
Lead Sales Associate:
Duties include conducting the over all day to day sales operations of the business. This position is responsible for every aspect of daily sales operations from start to finish. This position is responsible for the overall control of the work flow of the shop and must keep everything flowing from customer to customer. It is the responsibility of the Sales Associate to greet customers and provide outstanding service. They are responsible for answering phones, and assisting customers. It is the duty of the Sales Associate to listen to the needs of the customer and to fit those needs with the very best options. It is their duty to fully understand all the options and programs that we have to offer so they can fit those needs. The Sales Associates are the first impression of the company and they must understand the value of the SouthCO Experience. they are personally responsible for giving our customers that experience. It is the responsibility of the Sales Associate to set up the work order with the customer and to keep the customer informed about the progress of the job. It is their responsibility to keep work orders organized and to keep the Tire Techs fully informed about the job. It is the duty of the Sales Associate to conduct training with the Sales Techs when observing an inaccurate process. It is their responsibility to make sure that the Sales Techs are up to par and functioning at their highest potential. This position is responsible for the appearance and cleanliness of the showroom, They are responsible for all sales tools and keeping wall promos up to date and looking clean. To be a Sales Tech you must know and understand every aspect of the business, from garage operations to customer programs and incentives in order to efficiently help customers. Sales Techs are responsible for writing checks to vendors when tires are delivered. This person is responsible for addressing all customer issues or complaints and it is their duty to try to resolve the issue in a manner that benefits both the customer and the company before passing it to the General Manager. This position is also responsible for some financial aspects of the company i.e. writing checks to vendors.
Sales Technician:
It is the responsibility of the Sales Tech to greet customers and provide outstanding service to our customers. They are responsible for answering phones, and assisting customers. It is the duty of the Sales Tech to listen to the needs of the customer and to fit those needs with the very best options. It is their duty to understand all the options and programs that we have to offer so they can fit those needs. Sales Techs are responsible for writing checks to vendors when tires are delivered. Sales Techs are responsible for performing removal and replacement of tires and any other garage operations the must be accomplished in the event of under staffing or slow production. Sales Techs are also considered Lead Techs and must sometimes assume those responsibility's
Lead Technician:
It is the Lead Technicians duty to oversee the operations in the garage. It is the duty of the Lead Tech to accomplish the daily work that is printed on a repair order .They are responsible for removal and replacement of tires and misc car parts and accomplish their job in a timely but safe manner. They are responsible for the overall appearance and cleanliness of the garage and tire yard. It is their duty to oversee the Finish Techs and Start Techs to make sure that their process is always true and correct. It is the duty of the Lead Tech to conduct training with the Tire Tech's when observing an inaccurate process. It is their responsibility to make sure that the Tire Techs are up to par and functioning at their highest potential. They are responsible for answering questions pertaining to the removal and replacement of tires and misc car parts, In the event the Lead Tech Does not know the answer he may ask for assistance from the next position in line. It is their duty to handle any and all custom or difficult jobs that could result in an unsatisfied customer or a damaged product. The Lead Tech is personally responsible for the cleanliness and appearance of the tools and equipment. It is their duty to stay on top of all Technicians about appearance and tool placement after using the tools. It is the duty of the Lead Tech to be friendly to customers and greet them when Sales Techs are busy.
Finish Technician:
It is the Finish Technicians duty to accomplish the daily work that is printed on a repair order. They are responsible for all removal and replacement of tires and misc car parts and accomplish their job in a timely but safe manner. It is their duty to accomplish any tasks that have been delegated to them by any employee other than another Finish Tech. It is their duty to know and understand the equipment operation and conduct work as quick as safely possible. Finish Techs are responsible for the removal and replacement of tires. They are responsible for performing all tire balances. Start Techs must NEVER balance a tire. It is the responsibility of the Finish Tech to ask the Lead Tech for training in areas that they feel they need improvement. They are responsible for keeping the bay and the equipment in that bay clean and organized. They are solely responsible for putting a tool where it goes when they are done using it and keeping the garage organized so that the shop can function smoothly. It is their responsibility to know and understand the organization of the tire yard and to put tires away when necessary. It is the duty of the Finish Techs to spend time in the yard shifting and organizing tires when they are not working directly on a vehicle. It is the duty of the Finish Tech to be friendly to customers and greet them when Sales Techs are busy.
Start Technician:
The job of the start tech is to assist the finish tech and the Lead Tech in accomplishing the daily work that is printed on a repair order. They are responsible for the beginning of every job. They must fully understand the Maxx Traxx workflow. Start Techs are responsible for marking the job status when beginning a job and will be held to that standard. They are responsible for bringing every vehicle into the delegated bay. It is the responsibility of the Start Tech to lift the vehicle and begin the removal of the wheels designated by the Repair Order on every vehicle. Start Techs will be responsible for some removal and replacement of tires. Start Techs Must NEVER balance tires until they are promoted to Finish Tech and have been given permission to balance. Start Techs are responsible for lowering vehicles and performing first torque.. They are responsible for keeping the bay and the equipment in that bay clean and organized. They are solely responsible for putting a tool where it goes when they are done using it and keeping the garage organized so that the shop can function smoothly.
